We want to let you know that Oregon Youth Soccer will be offering coaching clincs the summer. These clinics area great way to learn more about the gam and improve your coaching skills. More information on dates and times can be fouund at the OYSA website.
Through the clinics, you will be able to learn the following:
- Activities needed to be developmentally appropriate – fun and agility
- Learn how to give clear instructions
- Help the kids learn simple to complex progression
- Help the kids in their decision making – attack/defend
- Use safe and appropriate spaces
- Provide plenty of implications for the game
Remember, decision making is the key. Soccer is a game in which the players have to think!
